CJI Customer Journey Intelligence
CJI Reckoner trial

Apply for a Reckoner trial.

Fourteen days. One seat. Full access to the Reckoner default surface — Industry Pulse, Anomalies, Decisions Surfaced — anchored to the CJI Chronicle. We review every application individually because Reckoner is independent market intelligence and the Competition Act 1998 Chapter I clause below sets the rules of use.

Rules of use

Competition Act 1998 — Chapter I clause.

Reckoner is alternative-data market intelligence. The same legal register that governs every other independent market-research product applies here. The clause below is short, deliberate, and binding on every trial seat.

Acceptance required before trial begins

Independent market intelligence — not a coordination channel.

The Competition Act 1998 (Chapter I) prohibits agreements, decisions, and concerted practices between firms that have as their object or effect the prevention, restriction, or distortion of competition within the United Kingdom.

By applying for a Reckoner trial you agree, on behalf of yourself and your firm, that:

1. Reckoner outputs are independent market intelligence, produced by CJI from public customer-signal sources. They are observations of public sentiment, not signals exchanged between competing firms.

2. You will not use Reckoner outputs — directly or indirectly — to coordinate prices, allocate markets, fix terms of service, synchronise product launches, or otherwise reduce competition with any other firm represented in the cohort.

3. You will not share Reckoner outputs with another firm in the cohort in any form that could constitute a concerted practice within the meaning of the Act.

4. CJI may suspend or revoke trial access at its sole discretion if it has reason to believe these conditions have been breached, and will cooperate with any regulator request regarding suspected breaches.

This clause is a plain-English summary intended to set expectations clearly for trial users. It does not replace formal trial terms; CJI will provide a full set of terms before activation. Independent legal review of the full set is in scope under MIL-97. If your firm's compliance function needs the full draft early, email [email protected].
